Calamity Jane reflections

Well its 1 week since Calamity Jane finished. Firstly it was great going to back to Bradford Players after missing their last few shows, and after 6 months of rehearsals i really felt back in the Players family. Meeting and working Adam the MD was great, i enjoyed the chorus rehearsals even though i wasn’t in many of them, his enthusiasm was infectious. A Chorus Line, post show blues!!

What can you do in 5 weeks? I’ll tell you, put on a musical with a cast of around 25, who don’t really know each other, that’s what you can do. Put this together with a last minute drop out, costumes arriving at dress rehearsal and an impossible score, I think Acorn Productions have pulled this one out of the bag.
